Growing up in St.Paul Minneapolis, around a lot of music,I guess like any other child,was fortunate enough to be around musicians that are even now famous.Buying a bass guitar from a neighborhood friend,and having the good fortune of having willie weeks staying at another friends house for a short time,gave him the boost he needed to become a solid Bass player.And he still works hard to perfect his craft.If you stop in often I'm sure you'll see the growth happening.Plus knowing and talking to Prince before his rise to fame helped him to realize that loving what you do is important in your being successful.
